Ceramics and glass production can be quite an unpredictable production process. Our vigorous quality check means we end up with seconds. Sometimes it is hardly noticeable.
The disappearing golden print happened because the temperature was not correct which results in the gold wearing off. We are therefore selling them as performative drinking vessels to celebrate the ever-changing nature of life.
For a discounted price you can witness the changing patina and the disappearing gold to bring it right down to the basic glass.
The glass will stay the same of course and is fit to use. Some of the moustaches might even stay but will have some minor imperfections.
Our Moustache Tumblers are hand wash only! Not microwave safe.
