The Special Gold Edition Dada Egg Cup...
In homage to Marcel Duchamp's famous and controversial art piece 'The Fountain', first presented in 1916, and inspired by maquettes of iconic furniture designs, Peter Ibruegger created the Dada egg cup.
As a very limited edition, we had a few Dada egg cups hand-painted in liquid 22 karat gold then kiln-fired to create a luxurious palm-sized urinal.
A limited-edition was available at the Royal Academy during an exhibition of Dali and Duchamp. The ones on offer on our web store are one-off pieces!
